PhysioTec Physiotherapy was established in Tarragindi in 2005 by Dr Alison Grimaldi, Practice Principal and her husband Nunz, Director. Their vision was to provide clients with an individualised management plan using skilled assessment and clinical reasoning techniques, implemented with cutting edge, evidence based treatment strategies.
Over the last decade, Alison has hand-picked experienced staff for the clinic, providing further specialised training and weekly mentoring to ensure consistency in our high quality care.
We receive referrals from many orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians, rheumatologists, pain specialists, musculoskeletal medicine doctors, and other physiotherapists and allied health practitioners. Clients travel to see us from all over Brisbane, and much further afield, including interstate and international clients, for specialised assessment and treatment of hip and pelvic disorders.
Alison is also passionate about furthering physiotherapy, with ongoing involvement in research, and continual innovation in treatment techniques and product development. This passion led to Alison & Nunz manufacturing their own unique rehabilitation training equipment, the TWS Slider and now the TWS Slider-Lite, which has been sold into clinics and homes all over the world for more than 15 years.

Our services have grown over the years so that we provide not only physiotherapy services but dance physiotherapy, pre-point assessments, group exercise and Pilates, running and bikefit assessments, strength and conditioning programs and post cancer treatment.
The Pentimento Project
Within the PhysioTec clinic we also have The Pentimento Project. Lead by Julie Allen, The Pentimento Project is dedicated to post cancer treatment, with the primary focus of the clinic being cancer rehabilitation and helping people move through this transient moment in their life towards their new future.
