Pilates is a method of exercise using slow controlled movement to retrain optimal movement patterns and restore maximum muscle tone and flexibility.

When taught by a physiotherapist with an advanced understanding of injury and rehabilitation requirements, it provides an excellent first step towards the recovery of strength and function.

A one hour full body assessment will identify detrimental postural & movement habits and determine your main areas of weakness or stiffness. A personalized programme is then developed to address these problems.

A Personal Management Programme is also available for those who would like assistance and motivation in structuring a complete exercise programme, not only for rehabilitation, but also for improving general fitness and losing weight.

As part of this programme, direction will be provided towards what, where and how exercise should be undertaken, taking into consideration any pain or injuries. This is particularly helpful for those who find themselves unable to participate in their normal activity and gaining weight due to pain or injury, which is in turn worsened by excess weight. Let us help you break the cycle with a well managed programme.

We are also very happy to work together with your present gym instructor or personal trainer to develop an exercise programme that fulfills all your requirements for injury prevention, recovery, and fitness.
